🌐 Code Connector: Code and Share

January 3 — 1:00PM | Virtual

Show, tell, and grow. Share projects, practice communication, and cheer on peers. This meetup invites all to connect, learn, and support one another. A welcoming space where Memphis tech newcomers and veterans build confidence together.

Why This Matters: One of the hardest parts of a tech career is clearly sharing your work and impact. This is a supportive space to practice, build confidence, and grow alongside peers at every stage.

This is the side of Memphis tech that often goes unseen, but matters most.

BDPA Memphis closed out 2025 with a Winter Celebration rooted in people. No pitches. No panels. Just a community coming together to reflect, reconnect, and celebrate how far it’s come. Conversations moved easily: from career pivots and personal projects to mentoring and what’s possible in 2026.

Inside the Listening Room at Central Station Hotel, you could feel it: trust, continuity, and culture.

There were real signals of growth: a kids' coding program scaling from five students to 20+ in 2026, leadership transitions grounded in purpose, and a wave of career momentum across the room. And when the music shifted, the culture showed up: dance-offs, Star Wars’s light-saber battles, project demos, and joy.

This is what community-driven innovation looks like when it’s done right. A reminder that innovation doesn’t only happen in accelerators: it happens in rooms where people feel safe enough to be themselves.

Memphis tech is building more than companies. It’s building belonging.
